87. Suggestion on How to Fry

If you want to fry things that might stick to the skillet, most people heat the skillet before pouring the cooking oil. It's not advised to preheat the pan empty.

1. Pour the cooking oil as usual, heat the pan and the oil, remove the heated cooking oil to a container. 2. Pour new cooking oil to the skillet again, let it heat, and then remove the second heated cooking oil to a container. 3. Pour another new cooking oil to the skillet again (last time), let it heat, and then remove the third heated cooking oil to a container.

Finally, pour the real cooking oil you'd like to use to fry your fish, and when it's ready, you can start frying the fish.

Alternatively, you can also apply palm starch flour onto the fish before frying, and you won't need a lot of oil to fry it too. I reckon this method is more convenient and worth a try.

The food won't stick and it's still whole. This is useful especially when you need to fry fish. Fish is so fragile the skin won't be around by the time you're finished frying. The skillet ate all your fish skin.
