Brush your teeth twice daily.
I try to be sensitive to my teeth, so I would stay in the restroom all day to get a strand of meat stuck in between my teeth out. I recommend you to brush your teeth after you wake up, and before sleep at night. However, due to several complicated reasons, we don't normally have the same routine everyday, as there might be a great TV show that day (for example: the Asian Games Opening Night, etc), a friend coming by to spend the night, etc.
My routine is to brush my teeth every face wash time (twice daily) no matter what. I can eat after that even before sleeping time, but I'd drink so much water after that. [Reference:

Brushing teeth is an art on itself. Do it in a circular motion, so as not to hurt your gum. Make sure to brush every teeth that you feel like having. Every teeth is an important part in chewing process, so I suggest you to keep all teeth. Brush all sides of every teeth, and you'll not only feel fresh, but also clean.
Trust me, if you do brush every teeth thoroughly, twice a day, you won't even need to clean that tartar at all. My dentist recommends me to come back check my teeth every six months, then every year, then every two years, then every five years.
I'm keeping up my good work.
